We all like turning old games into cash, or turning cash into classic games. GameStop is pretty widely used all over the country, but a lot of more local places will give you a better deal. So where do you go?

I like to go to Movie Trading Company and Entertainmart, both of which offer some pretty good prices for old games. I'm not sure how many Movie Trading Companies there are, but there are about 6 Entertainmarts in existence spread across a few states, most of which are found in Texas. I saw a big stack of Final Fantasy VII in Entertainmart today, more than I've ever seen in one place before. Must be the effect of that game being available on the PSN now.

I'm lame and just stick to GameStop. I very rarely trade in old games, but I do like looking through their older used games. I'm very tempted to buy FF7 and Resident Evil via PSN. FF7 might be a waste as I already own it, but if I had an electronic copy then I wouldn't have to worry about scratching the CDs.

The last time I tried buying a game from a local store, they wanted to charge me like $180 for Riven because it had so many discs. -.- They kept insisting that it was really 8 (or however many discs it was) games and not one really long one.

for newer games I trade in at Blockbuster. Surprisingly they give ALOT more than EB games does for trade ins. For older games, I go to the pawn shop across the street.

There's a store called Play N Trade in Pocatello and its pretty good place to find used games they go way back to Atari and to todays games. I've seen some pretty old games there. I was so close to buying Silent hill for the PlayStation but somebody had it reserved. I also have a local GameStop and GameCrazy I seem to find better pricing deals for used games at Play N Trade compared to the other two but when it comes to new games I'll go to which place has it. I found Persona 4 at GameCrazy while on the other hand I found Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus for the Wii at Play N Trade.

If I was to ever sell any of my games then i'd depend on how old said game is. If it is newish then it'd be at Block Buster or Some other video store since they offer higher returns than EBGames (I am sure that no Game Stop is in the city I live in). If it is old then I'd have to say EB Games. But it it is really old then it'd be EBay. EBGames doesn't buy really old games anymore and the pawn shops doesn't offer as much as I'd like to get for it!

However I highly am sure that I will not be selling any! Yes I do still have Atari games that are from the early 1980's/ late 1970's. I still have the original Japanese Mario Brothers game! And yes I do take them out from time to time to play them!
