I'm not sure which saves application you're using but I know that the GBA sharkport installs but the OS doesn't recognize the USB drivers. Could you detail which console the save manager you're using is intended for?

What version on Windows XP are you using?

-Windows XP pro
-Windows XP home
-Windows XP pro 64 bit
-Windows XP home 64 bit

Please note that the DS Game Shark was only designed to work for the 32 bit versions of Windows 98 to Windows XP!

The reason why it does not work on Vista is because it was NEVER designed for that operating system. You'll have to see if you can try the compatibility mode!

In any event, it's as Felix explained, and I implied earlier:

From the reports I've heard from other end users, the program installs but the USB drivers aren't compatible with vista. The only correction I'd make to Felix's post is that the application would most likely run on vista 64 but it would do so under 32-bit compatibility. I've tried using VMware with windows XP on my 64-bit Windows vista desktop, to see if that could work around the problem but the results are somewhat inconclusive partly since it has to be recognized by the host computer first it seems.

Ya well I too have this problem with most of my XP only software! And yes I do have Windows XP. I also have Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit, but I hardly use it since most of the programs I have will only work on XP. So trust me when I say I can feel your pain as well as understand the troubles your having!

I had tried looking up your error message the other day for the XP operating system. I've seen it reported a few times but I can't remember off-hand whether it was resolved for those cases or not. MadCatz TS may be able to offer more complete feed back on that error message if I'm unable to locate the previous instances of the same error.
