Gracious this place chock full of mod wannabes. Every other topic has some rude remark or is prematurely closed. It's the guy's 3rd post; what's wrong with replying to the topic at hand and PM'ing a mod so they can kindly place a redirect?

It's just as bad and a little ironic that both of your posts are off topic, arguably something just as bad as posting this in the wrong, yet semi-related, forum.

(and yes, I realize that I'm probably "trolling" or whatever it's called when you point out something that's not nice)

That having been said -

I thought Xenosaga 3 was fantastic! I wasnt a huge fan of the second one. They did have a lot of good story in Xenosaga 2, but the way they unfolded it was a little lackluster. Xenosaga 3 was PACKED with story -- even more if you read the tons and tons of information avaliable in the in-game encyclopedia.

They had a fair number of plot twists. The one regarding Shion and the gnosis on Miltia was very nice. They tied most everything together and didnt leave many loose ends.

While I'm very sad that they wont be making a Xenosaga IV, V(remake), or VI at least any time soon, it was a good ending to the story.

But yeah all boards ive been to you see alot of mod wannabes(namely IGN's board late at night,when the mods are not working). Who needs mods when you have these guys,every post would be mod wannabes trying to kiss up..........even if half the things they post are rude(not the modly thing to say or do btw folks to a new person).

Back on topic,loved Gears very epic PSX\PS1 rpg. Loved XS ep 1,started epic and ended epic. Didnt get into EP 2,seemed to drag on since the begining of the game. XS Ep 3,this is the final chapters of all final chapters.

I'm very sad that they're probably never going to finish the series. They did mention a couple of times that a 4th game would be possible depending on the sales of Ep. 3, but we'll probably see FF7 for PS3 before we see Xenosaga Ep 4. =(

On a completely unrelated and forbidden note: are there any plans to re-open general discussion? I'd be interested to know how MadCatz feels that allowing a community who likes its products to grow hurts their business. Heck, look at Apple - they have fans that would die for their product. If they silenced their communities, their market shares would plummet. I love this place and I get so sad and angry every time I visit it.

I hadn't been a big poster since the Interact split, but I still visited quite often to see how people were doing until the forum nuke hit. Ever since I started visiting this site back in the late 90's, I've enjoyed it. I used to stay up late in college doing code requests for people and doing support in the Digichat. Heck, even if the deathgrip on this place were let up a bit, it would probably take a while for people to come back...

I dunno... I guess I'm skating on the verge of getting another nasty letter from Omen, so I guess I'll go to bed. -.- damn, this place used to be good.

To tell ya the truth Sol,ive looked into the rumored fabled fanboys dream XS Ep 4 over and over and over and yet even as i type this the game is a rumor and in gaming limbo. Not saying a 4th game isnt a could be,i mean even capcom over ruled their "Onimusha 3 will be the last game" and turn around to make Onimusha 4.


On a side note:I feel the same way coming from waaay back in the interact\digichat era when i first reg. But again most people are are tamed compared to the members at IGN or GameFAQS.

One thing i just found is from the Xeonsaga wiki page and yeah i know wiki isnt always trust worthy but this is interesting......

I should play this game. I wanted to try and buy the first episode when it first came out but...i didn't have any money back then. I hope that I can find copies of episodes I, II, and III.

i have all 3 games and started on game 1. call me wierd but i like to beat a previous game before the newest one if possible. so i wont see ep3 in a while lol.

on another note, i liked ep1 battle system more than 2, but i suck at most games so maybe its jsut me O.o

The battle system in Ep2 was a bit frustrating at times. It was really fun for boss fights, but it took too much setup for normal fights to be entertaining after a while. Ep. 2 was definitely the low point of the series, but they more than make up for it with Ep 3.
