hello.. i just bought the gameshark media manager with usb cable for my psp.
the program ran for me only once, right after installation - but now when i attempt to run it, nothing works.
the desktop icon just says "invalid parameter". if i try to run it from windows start button run command, it loads, but immediately with an error messagea and shuts down with the option to send an error report to microsoft.
i installed the patch i found on gameshark's webiste, supposedly to fix this problem, but it continues.
i'm running windows xp pro, direct-x 9c, an amd 64 proc, have 2 gigs of ram and plenty of hard drive space - so i think my system is more than capable.
any advice or assistance would be appreciated!

Try uninstalling the patch as well as the PSP media application. Then re-install both. See if that has any effect on the problem...

i uninstalled the patch and program as you suggested. i then went to reinstall the program, and then the patch.
but now, it won't install at all! ..i get an "internal error 2753 dxsetup.exe" message and the installation stops.

I'll have a look to see if there is anything on the main site that could give information on the type of error that is causing this then...
As I do that you may need to also contact tech support to see if there is any additional information they can provide for you regarding the errors that are inhibiting the function of the media manager on your computer
