If this is the original Xbox, then yes. I don't think there as has been any new games for the Xbox console for some time since the 360 has become the bread winner. Unlike Sony with the PS2, Microsoft doesn't have much incentive to keep Xbox in the loop and a quick search showed that one of the last releases came around 2006~2007 period. You may want to look into getting one of the current generation consoles.

Unless you have 500+ Xbox games already, there's still a large selection of "new" games for you yet. I know my local gamestop stopped carrying Xbox games recently, but they still have some online. Amazon and ebay are good bets too. eBay has bulk sets with 10 or 20 games you can pick up at once for maybe a $1 each.

You won't see any new games released for it unless you watch some homebrew website, but old games are still fun.

I am sorry, it does not approach me. There are other variants?
