Hello, I have Gameshark: Broadband Enabled and I was wondering how to get online updates for codes, game saves, and Gameshark version updates.

If this feature is no longer available, then I would like to know how to use a USB to receive said items.

Thanks,
TGETTGETTGET

Step 1: Delete your cookies AND restart your Web browser.

Step 2: Goto the following page: http://xs.gameshark........mp;uid=&fs=

Step 3: Choose "PS2" near the top of the pages. Beside it should be "Xbox".

Step 4: Choose a letter. This is the fist letter of the game title for your game. Example the game I seek codes for is "Futurama", thus I would choose the letter "F". Please note that some pages have more than 1 page so you'll have to navigate your way to your game.

Step 5: Once your on the page where your game name is located (in my case it was page 2) click on the game name!

Step 6: Choose your version of MadCatz Game Shark 2. In my case since I have the MadCatz Game Shark 2 Version 1.1 Broadband enabled I would choose the top one. Make sure you choose the correct one or you'll have to start over and delete your cookies! Basic rule to know at this point is look at the image and see which one matches your product!

Step 7: See the words: "GameShark 2 users (with pen drive feature), please click here for downloadable pen drive cheat file list to upload to your GameShark 2 code list." CLICK ON IT!

Step 8: Save is somewhere on your computer. Please note that it is best to use Internet Explore using Windows XP! When ask for where to save it make 100% sure you do not edit the game name but add ".P2M" at the end of it! This will make sure that you have downloaded the file correctly so it can be read by your MadCatz Game Shark 2 product.

Step 9: Close your web browser and insert a compatible USB storage device.

Step 10: Copy the file onto the USB storage device (pen drive or what ever your using). Make 100% sure that it is on the root directory! Do not put it in a folder!

Step 11: Follow the steps for "how to use USB feature for your MadCatz Game Shark 2 product". This is found on the instruction manual! Kinda pointless for me to post it here since that would take even more steps. So I will just link you to the online user manuals thread: http://boards.gamesh...showtopic=12135

Thanks for the help but, when I click on my Gameshark type (The second one, Broadband enabled.) it does not say "GameShark 2 users (with pen drive feature), please click here for downloadable pen drive cheat file list to upload to your GameShark 2 code list." anywhere.

I do not know the version of my Gameshark, I do know that it matches the second picture in step 6.

The game I choose was Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater, if that makes a difference.

Also, can I use my Gameshark to receive online code updates?

Thanks again,

Provided that your product allows this function and an update is available then the answer is yes. If not then the answer is no!

Remember that no all Game Shark products allow all features!

Also when I said "Not all MadCatz Game Shark 2 products allows the use of usb storage device to transfer Cheat Save files!" that means that if the webpage does not have that then it does not allow that feature.

If your unable to do it in any of these ways then you'll have to manually enter ALL the codes you want to use and make sure that you have saved it on your official Sony PS2 memory card that is inserted in SLOT1 of your ps2!

Have you READ the manual? If not then please do so! All manuals for the PS2 Game Shark 2 products can be found in the following thread: http://boards.gamesh...showtopic=12135

Side note: If you have the MadCatz Game Shark 2 Version 1.? broadband enabled (this is the latest ones) then you'll want to make sure you read page 12 and on (reason being those pages clearly tells you how to connect online)!
